~A new month is on the way~

Hello Dear friends, well it is true. Feb is almost gone , and March will be making it's entrance soon. Today I went out , and pulled a few weeds from one of my flower beds . My husband and son brought me a wheelbarrow full of good soil , to go in some big pots, to plant my tomato seeds and sweet pepper seeds. So I can grow some plants, to transplant to the garden, later.

It won't be long until time for that. I'm not to good for long anymore in pulling weeds , from the flower beds. My back want hold up long, and I can't get down on my knees anymore. But, anyway I still like to try.

We had some stormy weather late this evening, but most of it passed northeast of here.
We had some thunder and lightening, and some rain , but it didnt last long.

Sunday night

Hello Dear Friends, I pray that you all had a wonderful day. I sure did! I went with my grandaughter, and some of the children to New Faith Church in Sacul Texas.

Had a good service, and a blessing for sure. My husband didn't go to day so he stayed home and when we got home he had put the big pot of home made soup, (that I made yesterday) , on to heat . So, thats what we had for lunch.

We sit out side this evening, and enjoyed the warm sunshine, it is so peaceful to do that to visit, and just watch the children run and play. I have been known to sit out in my swing in the yard along , sometime and sing , meditate, or talk to the Lord.

Thank you all dear friends, for the comments, I know I'm slow to respond sometime, but I do enjoy hearing from everyone.

~Sunday Night~

Hello friends, I pray everyone had a wonderful weekend. First I want say thank you to Karen for my nice awards ,and the valentine is so pretty. We went to church this morning .

Enjoyed the Sermon. Came home and fixed sloppy Joe sandwiches with chips, and chili beans. My husband and I, with our son and his girlfriend, watched the Nascar races the Daytona 500.

I watched awhile, but was up and down alot,with some of the little grandkids ( smile).

Hope you all have a nice week ahead. We had some rainy, stormy weather last night , but it was nice today.
I'm scared of storms,when I was a little girl . . I remember going to the cellar, alot cause my Mom was scared of storms too. We dont have one now ,but I sometime wish we did.

BUT WE TRUST IN THE LORD TO TAKE CARE OF US. HIS WILL BE DONE .

HEY, IS IT FRIDAY AGAIN?

Hello Dear friends, yep guess it is Fri. again. Hope ya'll had a nice Valentine Day , with lots of sweets for the sweet. I know I did, but guess I wouldn't need the candies everyday for sure (smile) ,but they are a welcome treat yum, yum.

Haven't made a post in awhile .

Hope everyone is well and everything is going great. We are doing ok! We made a trip to Dallas to visit with our daughter Debra, we enjoyed the visit.

I usually like to go to the thrift stores ect. when we are down there , but I missed it this time. Oh well, maybe next time. Guess I will make this short tonight.

~Family Picnic at Park~

We had a wonderful time at the park to day with our daughter Shelley and her family.We surely enjoyed ourselves. It was good spending time with everyone! So happy to see Thomas with his baby Colton,there. He is a sweet baby, and sure loves his daddy a lot .It is so precious how he walks up to Thomas ,wraps his arms around Thomas legs and lays his little head on him to love him.
We enjoyed seeing all the kids, and the hamburgers were great!

~Old Rocker Renewed~

Hi Friends,
Hope everyone is having a nice day. Wanted to make a small post today, to show everyone a photo of my old rocker after it was renewed. I am very pleased with it! I have new cushions for it , that will look very pretty on it, but for now I dont have them on it because it sits on the back porch and the cats , and my grandaughter's dog will think it is their bed, like my little bear use to do( smile). I'm trying to get my porch closed in later, but for now I'm trying to make room in the house for it. Of course, my cat will sit on it with me sometime anyway.

Hello Ladies, I thought I would show you our new great grandbaby, Little Brandon. Isn't he just a little doll. A big healthly boy! Another addition to our ever growing family and such a blessing.

Babies are God's way of saying the world should go on.
